UC Berkeley admitted roughly 8% more students than last year, not 47% more. UC Santa Cruz admitted about 2,000 more students than last year, not 10,000 more. About half of UC Berkeley’s accepted first-year international students enrolled for the fall 2024 semester, not 26%. The UC system overall saw about 25% of accepted first-year international students enroll, not 21%.
